Director General for Planning & Coordination
The Director General for Planning and Coordination is composed of 3 officers and 1 team. The Director General establishes & coordinates the major statistical work plans, plans the budgets, coordinates budget enforcement, coordinates work of the National Assembly, coordinates & supports the innovation of business procedures and organizational culture, manages the organization of the Statistics Korea and its staff members through diagnosing and evaluating the organization, coordinates international cooperation, coordinates the evaluation of government businesses and coordinates work related to authoritative agencies.

- Coordinating bilateral and multilateral statistical cooperation
- Coordinating statistics-related ODA projects
- Supporting international training works
- Supporting the exchange of human resources including dispatched officers overseas
- Managing and coordinating overseas business trips related to international statistical cooperation
- Implementing statistical works of North Korea
- Implementing statistical works of New Southern Region and New Northern Region
