Statistics Research Institute
The Statistical Research Institute consists of 3 divisions and 1 team. The Institute establishes research plans & carries out research on the development, improvement and analysis of statistics, develops & improves economic, social and regional statistics, carries out research on the analysis and forecast of economic and social statistics, supports the development, improvement and analysis of statistics for statistical production agencies, carries out research on statistical planning and production and coordinates joint research with international organizations and foreign countries.

Main Responsibility
- Establishing basic plans for the operation of the SRI and research plans
- Coordinating the operation and publicity of the SRI including personnel, accounting, supplies, security, property management and emergency plans
- Carrying out research on the improvement of national statistics
- Coordinating the extra works not managed by other divisions of the SRI
