Survey Management Bureau
The Survey Management Bureau is made up of 4 divisions and 1 team. The Bureau plans & manages field work of surveys, improves survey environment, plans & conducts the Population and Housing Census, plans & conducts the Register-based Census, designs & manages the samples of surveys, carries out contract-based surveys, and establishes & implements out basic plans related to remote surveys.

- Coordinating matters concerning the improvement of regional statistics
- Coordinating cooperation and technical support for the production of regional statistics
- Coordinating other matters for the development of regional statistics
